Today, one of my best friend, a really nice girl has quitted GWs. Why? Because some people that she known before have changed. She is a PvP fan, HA everyday with guildes and friends, however, today, 1 of her friend in group used some very strong words to insulted her, and blaming her that she have caused the game lost(she was playing monk). 1st of all, not only she is a very good HAer(r10), but also she is a very nice person to play with.(i ve never heard any bad words from her EVER since we met almost a year and half ago). 2nd of all, she is that kind person that will never rage a group or blaming people for losing a match. Sadly, today she got stunded by her own friend, blaming, f words, all over the vent... she then decited to quit this game, she asked me just one question: why undead? why people in HA changed? why they have to be so mean to me? i dont know what should i answear her....
This was the story, very sad, but it is true. and from my personal experince, i have noticed this /rage, blaming, very inmature languages around HA lately as well. i mean, why do some people have to be a total jerk in this game? it is just a freaken game.... you dont have to yell at people in vent to release your angry, find a wall and knock your head on it already. i miss old days really, no blame no rage, people play togather happily, if lost, sure, lets go again. where have those days go? HA has been illness for awhile now, low rank or no rank people never get a group, if they ever do get a group, either running zergway or sway crap like that. how do they improve their game play skills by playing those lame builds over and over? sigh..... nothing i can really do, i rant too much today, i am sorry if this post hurt some of you, but i really do want to tell some truth of the current stats in HA

Well, there has been no good reason to play HA (other than for an emote) for quite a long time now.

I am glad you posted this, some players are jerks, your friend should not quit, join someone else, HA and kill those that rage blame her MWAHAHAHAHA ...

the /rage quick blame someone else for your fault syndrome has been going on for as long as i can remember, even in pve.

It's only a game, you can't take these people seriously. If somebody is harassing a rank 10 monk, the monk should just /rank them and say STFU. Your answer to her question should probably be something along the lines of "because you let them."

The Monk is always the first to blame in any PvP situation.

All those ''High End'' PvPers go berserk if something isn't perfect like: ''You need to run that build!'', ''Go check Wiki noob!'', ''Spike this, spike that, no spike? NO HA FOR YOU!'' Well... I got that out of personal experience, most people in HA are just elitists.

Instead of whining they could actually teach people about HA.

First of all, I'd kick that person out of the guild if I was the leader or an officer. I wouldn't care if he/she was r10, r12, whatever. That was really uncalled for. Guild Wars is just a game...A GAME!!!

Games are supposed to be fun, entertainment...not real life. Sure, sometimes things can get frustrating, but that's not a reason to lash out at somebody. That person needs a serious reality check and quit thinking he/she is hot shit.

Undeadgun, I really hope that the person that insulted your friend was some teenager or was just having a bad day (not that it's an excuse). If he/she isn't or wasn't, fine, he/she will fail at life, and die a failure. Some might say that's pretty harsh, but in my own personal experience, it happens more often than not.

Welcome to MMO's my friend, Where /rage is normal. I have been HAing for a short time (2months on and off) and only have 35 fame. All I have ran is Sway and a couple of other ways and if we loose first round, even if it is to a guild who have held halls loads before they still rage quit. Sway doesn't get you any knowledge of the game, therefor people who are r6, still doing sway have no experiance but are able to get into teams with lots of experience, then the people with low experience blame the other people as they have no idea what happened. HA is, imo, screwed since they removed the favor control.

The more people play a game, the more they repeat the same thing over and over again the pickier they get. It's nothing new.

Back in the days when GW was new and everyone in it, the tolerance level was much higher, it's a natural thing. Blaming people and insulting them over a game however is the losers theme. Many PvPers if not most are certainly below 18 years and an astonishing majority there is retarded, immature and needs e-peens as a substitute for their failures in life. The internet is the best place to do it.

If she leaves the game the retarded jerk has a win.

If you insult the monk by losing your self a n00b...
Coz if he just rush in the hole group the monk cant heal so fast.
